Why Writing & Why This Book?
It didn’t start as a book nor ever I imagined!
It started with a quiet question: “How do I pass on what I’m learning… to someone I don’t get to spend enough time with?”
That someone is my princess, Aahana.
Over time, I realized something: when our moments together are few, it's tempting to say everything all at once — to give all the advice, share all the gyan, offer every life hack. But kids don’t learn that way. Especially not when you’ve missed some of their days. They learn from context, from curiosity, and from stories. So I stopped trying to “teach” and started imagining something else — something that could gently stay with her even when I couldn’t. That’s how the book began: as a quiet way of showing up — through something she enjoys, on her terms. And maybe, in some way, it was also something I had imagined back when she was born: That I’d raise her by being her friend, her guide, and her ear — as the situation demanded. That even as I kept learning and growing myself, I’d find ways to help her do the same — without ever overwhelming her.Whats There In This Book?
Book 1: The Superpower....
(Coming Soon)
This isn’t a superhero story.
It’s a story about the real superpowers kids already carry inside them — like curiosity, reflection, emotional awareness, and the quiet courage to pause, decide, and act.
The book is imagined like a journey — part story, part journal, and part emotional companion. It’s playful and layered, with enough lightness for a child to enjoy… and enough depth for them to return to it later, when life starts getting more complex.
It doesn’t try to explain emotions or instruct behaviour.
Instead, it lets kids discover them — in characters they relate to, in choices they recognize, and in a voice that respects their intelligence.
Because children don’t grow from advice.
They grow from stories that mirror their own world — and gently help them notice what’s already within.
Whats Next?
The first book was never meant to be the only one.
There’s another story already brewing — one that explores friendships, tricky feelings, and the strange courage it takes to ask for help. It’s softer, messier, and even more real. But that’s for another time.
